Antique American Tall Case / Grandfather Clock c. 1830-50
An imposing (100") Mahogany clock with Tiger Maple accents, old refinish, dovetailed bonnet, old glass. Original movement with no shims or alterations and what are likely original weights and pendulum. Only 2 necessary repairs; replaced feet and door hinges. One rosette missing. The movement was just serviced and runs/strikes perfectly. These rare dials were known as "poor man's moon dial" because it's a fixed image of a moon face, only one I've seen in person and it's original paint. Measures 100" x 20.5" x 13". Big clock. $2,500

Antique American Tall Case / Grandfather Clock
A very tall (95") American clock in a solid walnut case with no veneer. The case has an old refinish that still look good, old glass, dovetailed bonnet. The dial has paint loss as shown in the last 3 pics. I'm offering the clock 'as-is' first, then I plan to send the dial out for restoration. I've already gotten the quote ($425) to repaint the moon dial and calendar, and to clean and touch up the rest as needed. That usually takes about 2 months but Dial House II does amazing work and it's worth the wait. So if you're OK with it now before the price goes up by $425, I'll sell it.I've had it running for a week and everything works; time, strike, calendar, and advancing moon dial. Measures 95" x 17" x 10". $1,895
